Cześć Family and Friends!!!!

Ok there is so much to say this week so once again I’m jumping right in!

I want to start off with some miracles and some lessons!

We had another meeting with the young girl who was the previous investigator from the Warsaw I sisters! We talked a lot about how we can know the Book of Mormon is true! I showed her some real evidences of the Book of Mormon (thank you BYU religion class) and then we talked about how we can gain a testimony of it! We watched this incredible talk about the Book of Mormon and then we both shared our own testimony of the Book of Mormon! She told us that she had received the answer that the Book of Mormon was true a while ago but then began to have doubts! I told her that is why we are to read and study it every day! She is nervous that she doesn't know everything yet to be baptized! I told her that it is ok if we don't understand everything! Who does?!  She is reading D & C right now and she shared with us this scripture:

That which is of God is light; and he that receiveth light, and continueth in God, receiveth more light; and that light groweth brighter and brighter until the perfect day.

She told us that after our last meaning she had felt iskierka światła (a sparkle of light) and she felt it again! We explained to her that is how it works! We gain a testimony one sparkle at a time! That was the Holy Ghost tell her it was true! We discussed baptism and are working on finding a date! She is amazing!  She is gaining more and more sparkles!  We are here to shine and sparkle – to be our best selves!  The gospel makes this possible!

We then had a lesson with our mom again! I talked about last week how we wanted to focus on stories in the Book of Mormon with her so we decided to teach/discuss the Tree of Life! She even told us she read the scriptures with her young daughter! We started reading it all together and Sister Beem drew it as we read! I asked her what she learned first from it all and she talked about the path they were on and how that is what leads us back! We talked about each thing individually and how it applies to us! We focused on reaching the tree as our goal! She thanked us afterwards and said it was a beautiful lesson! So much progress and happiness with her!  We get excited about teaching her!

Ok this is a miracle and a lesson but... OUR MOM CAME BACK FROM GERMANY!!! She was so cute and so excited to see us! We had followed up with her and the missionaries there! She said that she is understanding everything a lot better now! We asked her if she still wanted to be baptized and she said she does! We went through baptismal questions to see where we need to follow up. When I asked her about the Book of Mormon she said she knew it was scripture! It was amazing! We are so excited to work with her again!  Sparkling blessings!

Now for a miracle! I had randomly talked once with this girl during an English blitz and she came to our English class! She is so cute! She asked why we here again as missionaries! Sister Beem and I just decided to go for it and asked her to meet with us!  She agreed! She is seriously so cute and we are so excited to meet with her!

This week was also huge for the history of the church here! We combined the two branches in Warsaw this week to make one large branch! We have to travel about an hour now to the church which takes up more time!  We helped with getting everything organized and moving! At one point the elders said “Here they (us sisters) can move the ‘light’ stuff!” Sister Beem and I both looked at each other and picked up a wardrobe by ourselves and carried it off! WE ARE WOMEN, HEAR US ROAR!!

Sunday was amazing! We walked into the chapel and a less active we are working with came! We were so excited! More and more people started to fill the chapel.  Yes…now we meet in a real, live chapel! The members, both American and Polish, were hugging each other and introducing themselves! I was so proud of the Americans as they said Jestem (I am) and then their name! The feeling was incredible!  I looked back in the chapel and could see that part of the overflow room was filled!  So happy!  So right! I kept thinking: “This is going to work!” I couldn’t help but keep smiling!  So proud of everyone’s attitudes and love!  This really is a huge step for Poland and I am excited to see all that is in store with this new branch!

I am so grateful to be a part of the church in Poland right now and to see it take such a huge step!  I know there is only so much more to come!

Kocham Was!!!!
